Brooklyn home prices rise in third quarterThe Real Deal, October 11, 2007-------------------------------------------------------------------------------- October 11, 4:28 pm Brooklyn home prices rise in third quarter A third quarter report by appraisal firm HMS Associates showed the average sales price for Brooklyn homes increased 12 percent to $704,888 from the previous quarter. Co-op prices rose 32.3 percent to $557,000 and condo prices declined 2.9 percent to $598,000 in the same period. Total sales, however, dropped 36 percent to 841 in the third quarter from the previous year.
